Terms of Service
photoidkit formats photos; governments approve them. Those are different jobs, and these terms keep them separate.
The service
photoidkit provides automated photo formatting — background removal where permitted, millimeter-exact cropping, and a compliance pre-check — sold as a one-time pack ($5.99) or a capped monthly plan ($9.9, up to 25 photos). The free tier (upload and preview) carries no charge and no download.
No guarantee of acceptance
The compliance pre-check is automated and unofficial. The issuing authority makes the final decision on every photo. A “pass” is a screening result, not an approval; a “warn” means retake before you pay.
Acceptable use
- Use the service only to format photos of yourself or people who have given you permission.
- Do not use the service to alter official documents, remove watermarks, or misrepresent identity.
- Where a country prohibits digitally edited photos (e.g. Canada), the service does not provide background removal for that document, and attempting to circumvent this is a violation of these terms.
Refunds
Because the free preview shows the result before purchase, completed orders are final. If our files are technically defective (wrong dimensions, corrupt output), write to support@photoidkit.com within 14 days and we will fix or refund.
